That is why we take great pride in working with small-scale producers, craft based families and communities. These traditional artisan and family-run businesses use their skill, know-how and natural techniques to create eco-friendly leather bags and accessories for Rustic Town.

We trade fairly with all our producers and suppliers.  We pay  a fair price, agreed through discussion, which improves their standard of living and their community.

Our aim is to develop long-term relationships with our suppliers, enriching their lives with employment and job generation.

Our team personally stays in touch with our craftsmen to ensure that ethical standards are being met, that working conditions are safe and hygienic. We also make sure that they are all well looked after and earn above average wages for themselves and their family.

With environment

Leather Industry is considered to be a major source of pollution and tannery pollutant is a potential environmental concern. It poses serious environmental impact on water.

However, we value the concerns of environment protection and thus use natural methods for processing leather.

We use goat leather hides and use vegetable tanning method. This means more natural substances like tannins and vegtable oils are used  resulting in completely avoiding harmful chemicals like chromium salts and artificial dyes..
